Consolidated Resource Audit in Maestro

If you want to effectively manage your cloud resources or the cloud resources of your tenant, you would like to keep a keen eye on all the logins and state-changing events in your cloud infrastructure.

With this release, we are glad to announce a new feature that will make your auditing experience simple as ABC. From now on, you can customize your audit notifications, send and receive notifications about different audit event groups, and create specific audit reports for a day, week, or month by means of the same tool, Custom audit notifications wizard.

Custom audit notifications wizard is available for all tenant members and can be run either from the Audit tab or from the Content View:

From the Custom audit notifications wizard, you can

  • Create new custom audit notifications with the necessary parameters such as mailing frequency, event group and subgroup, initiator of the event and the recipient of the notification, etc.
  • Edit and update your already existing custom audit notification(s) according to your ever-changing production and management needs.
  • Review the list and describe the parameters of the available custom audit notifications.
  • Remove the notifications once they are no longer needed.

Based on the mailing frequency, there are three types of custom audit notifications:

  • Daily notifications describe the events which happened during a day. The notification lists all the login and state-changing events together with their exact execution date and time, group and subgroup, and initiator.
  • Weekly notifications illustrate the number of the events which happened during a week in the form of a bar graph.
  • Monthly notifications illustrate the number of the events which happened during a month in the form of a line graph and include the table that gives the event numbers day-by-day.

All the notifications include the parameters with which they were created.

Why do I need to create and update my custom audit notification?

You can monitor events for a definite period of time, create a custom audit notification for a specific event group and sent it to any relevant persons and not only resource owners.
