Holiday Jam: Maestro UI


With the upcoming holidays, we would also like to uncover some of the interesting and handy updates in Maestro web and native applications. 

We continue enhancing the layouts in order to provide an intuitively understandable and user-friendly solution.

Web Application Updates

  • Pagination - for comfortable reviewing of lists, the pagination option was implemented to divide the content of the list into pages if the number of items in a list exceeds 15 items.

  • Filtering by Tag on Management Page - perform an effective search in lists on the Management page using filtering by tags. In the current release, this functionality is supported for Azure and AWS cloud providers.
  • Dynamic Component List - the possibility to see the dynamic changes of the list of components in the Security section of the Content View tab. Now the information in this section is updated immediately upon action is performed. The option is available for Nessus scanner and Qualys scanner.
  • Maestro Localization to Portuguese - We continue implementing the localization functionality for supporting the translation of our solution into different languages. With this release, we are introducing the Portuguese language. English, Spanish and Russian localizations are also available.

Native Application Updates

  • Native Script Version Updated - scripts for Maestro application were updated and consist now of the following packages:
    • Native Script - version 6.0
    • Native Script Angular – version 8.0 
All related packages were also reviewed and updated properly to ensure stability and high performance.
  • Tables Optimization in Native Maestro Application - the fixed header for tables was implemented in order to improve the layout. The tables were also optimized to provide stable and fast productivity, as well as prompt automated upload of data.
  • Tabs Descriptions Updated - the list of the Maestro tabs in the native application menu was also reviewed and updated with comprehensible details given briefly to describe the main purpose of each tab.
